Pick ‘n Save to Become School Supply Donation Destination for Students in Need
Company Offers School Supply Kits for Purchase and Donation

MILWAUKEE – July 25, 2018 – As Wisconsin students gear up for another school year, Pick ‘n Save, the largest grocery banner of Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. (Roundy’s), is working to ensure that every backpack (and stomach) in Wisconsin is full this back-to-school season.

From now through the middle of August, customers of Milwaukee area Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market locations will be able to purchase Back to School Supply Kits filled with classroom essentials to take home or donate to the Salvation Army’s Back to School Backpack program in stores.

“We’ve increased the quantity of school supplies within our stores by 600 percent over last year. We are quickly mobilizing our resources to do our part to ensure every student has the tools they need for a successful school year,” said Jim Hyland, Roundy’s VP of Communications & Public Affairs.

Wisconsinites will be able to purchase the supply kits and other classroom essentials tax-free in Wisconsin August 1 through August 5. Supply Kits retail at $6.99 and include school glue, 70 ct. Notebook, Number 2 Pencils, pink erasers, composition notebook, cap erasers and a pencil sharpener. Kits and Salvation Army donation barrels will be located in the front of the stores for customer convenience.
